Lately On Instagram

Thursday, May 26, 2016

Today I'm sharing a few looks you might have seen on Instagram while I was taking a blogging break. I have been totally enjoying spring time fashion, and I've been wearing a few things on repeat... always a good sign that you made a good purchase!

LOLA: Never Buy Tampons From The Store Again

Tuesday, May 24, 2016

Today, we are talking about something all women deal with: periods.

Recently, it came to my attention that not all tampons are created equal. By that I mean that most tampons you pick up in stores contain potentially harmful chemicals and synthetic fabrics. Say what?! I don't know about y'all, but I only want safe and natural things going up there! Enter LOLA

LOLA delivers a customized box of 100% cotton tampons delivered right to your door. You can pick the frequency, number of boxes, and the ratio of absorbencies in each box. Because their tampons are 100% cotton, that "means they're 100% natural, 100% biodegradable, and 100% easy to feel good about." The applicators are BPA-free, and no chemicals, synthetics, or dyes are used in the tampons. How awesome is that?!

I am loving how easy LOLA makes that time of the month, and you can bet that I will be a user as long as they are in business! If you'd like to try LOLA, please use code CAMY1 to get a $5 credit (and I'll get one too!)

Let me know if you try LOLA and how you like it!

Happy Tuesday!

A Little Retro

Monday, May 23, 2016

I'm back!!! I have some great posts lined up for the next few weeks, but we shall start with this fun look. This outfit is a little "retro" for two reasons: 1) the print and the flared jeans allude to a past time and 2) I snapped these outfit pictures while I was still in Florida!

While I love a good pair of skinny jeans, lately I've been craving something new. When I saw this unique 70's inspired pair from LOFT, I trusted my gut and decided to order them. I couldn't be happier! I'm excited to style them a variety of ways-- if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

In case you missed my hint on Instagram, I am now officially moved back home to Colorado and can't wait to make new post-grad memories in my home state. I'm starting an exciting internship next month, and before I do so I'm scratching some wedding to-do's off my list while I have more free time. I've decided to mix things up and am cutting back my posts here on TSL to 3 a week, which allows me to provide better content for y'all to read. I've also got some big ideas and changes cooking in my brain right now... I'll keep 'ya posted as they develop further :)

I hope y'all have a great Monday!

Celebrating My Undergrad

Monday, April 25, 2016

Happy Monday everyone!

I know I've been a little absent here on this little slice of the internet, and it's because last week I completed my final classes of my undergraduate degree. Wahoo! At the end of this week, I will be accepting my diploma for my degree in Interior Architecture & Design and I am just on top of the world. That being said, I am focusing on enjoying my last week in sunny Florida and then I'll be making the move back to my home state of Colorado, so I will be taking a little break from blogging while I enjoy this crazy amazing thing called life.

See y'all soon back here on This Styled Life. Thanks for reading! :)

Life Sneaks Up On You

Wednesday, April 20, 2016

Today's outfit is an example of what I throw together when I have not planned an outfit to wear and want to be comfy but still look stylish. With the huge athleisure trend right now, bright sneakers are a must. Paired with basic neutrals, the rest of the outfit looks chic. Pull your hair up into a loose pony or bun. Add simple accessories like a matching necklace and earring set, stylish shades ,and you are all set! Effortless and chic, all at the same time.

It is crazy to me how fast life flys by. Tomorrow is my final project presentation EVER in college; I will be presenting my senior capstone design project, a 5-star luxury boutique hotel located in Hanoi, Vietnam where I designed the 8-story hotel top to bottom! And in another week or so, I'll be walking across the stage at graduation. It seems like only yesterday I was starting my college career over at Florida State... And wearing an outfit very similar to this one on the trip to Europe with my family back in 2014!

Summer Dreaming

Monday, April 18, 2016

Short and sweet today, as I've spent the whole weekend working endlessly on my senior capstone project that is due this week. This breezy look has me dreaming of summer vacations... I picture this being the perfect look for exploring a new city. The neutral palette makes the yellow beads of my necklace pop.

Part of what is so fun about fashion is pushing yourself; I'm not normally a hat person, but I do have this straw fedora that rarely gets worn. I adore it with this outfit!

Five Friday Favorites

Friday, April 15, 2016

This week flew by (what else is new?) but here are a few snapshots from it...

1. I took a break from homework (my senior year capstone project is due next week!) to go through everything under my sink, in preparation for my move. For a girl who doesn't do too much with her hair, I have an excessive amount of hairbrushes & headbands!
2. Monday's look was full of pretty pastel tones, mixed with a little deep olive green, to make the perfect transitional spring outfit.
3. My parents got me a brick around Wescott Fountain here at FSU, and it was installed this week so I went to go see it! Now my mark is forever on the campus I have grown to love so very much.
4. To put a little fun into my week, I met my old roommates/friends for Mexican food and margaritas. Yum! And so good to catch up with them.
5. LOFT had some great sales this week, and I ordered a few pieces for spring. I'm especially excited to try this fresh style of jean and these basic white jeans!

I hope y'all had a good week!
