Bold Lips

I have never been a lip person.

Let me expand... I have never really been someone who wears lipstick, lip gloss, or lip stains. I pretty much just stick to lip balm. I frequently forget about my lips on important events or days as well. Oops! (I can't be alone though, right???) But I have flaunted a fun lipstick-lipgloss combo several times recently that I'd like to share (and yes, these pictures were taken before I chopped my hair off, I just never got around to posting them!). The couple times I've worn this combo, I have gotten a lot of compliments; so from that my question is maybe I shouldn't be skipping fun lip products as much as I do?

Ingredients for this look

--First Layer: Milani Lipstick in Violet 

--Second Layer: Pacifica Enlightened Gloss in Pink Coral 

I love this gloss because It's not too sticky or fake feeling! And its Vegan as well as being cruelty free. When you layer it over the bright purple lipstick, it tones it down just enough to be less "costumey" (why I originally bought it!) and more "bold for night".
