In a bedroom, the most prominent piece of furniture, and therefore the focal point, is the bed. So why not make it stand out even more by adding a unique headboard?!
Reclaimed furniture and home decor is all the rage right now, and there is no better use for salvaged materials, in my opinion, than for a headboard. Whether it's reclaimed wood (or store bought wood made to look distressed.... I won't tell!), corrugated tin, salvaged doors or shutters, or a distressed mirrored room divider, this look will surely make your bedroom the envy of all other bedrooms!
I'm doing a DIY headboard for my new apt that I move into in August, so look for that to come by the end of the month! :)
