TGIF everyone! So happy it's finally Friday... It's been a long week! Cutting right to the chase, here are some highlights from the past two weeks, since I've been kind of MIA recently (oops!)
1. I have never been one for booties, but I saw this pair at DSW and I've fallen in love! They are super comfy, cute, and the gray color will go with everything... I think they will be a fun asset to my wardrobe! Plus booties are very on trend right now--what do you think of the bootie trend? Yay or Nay?
2. My roommate and I were in Sam's Club stocking up on toilet paper and the like, when we turn down the aisle to find this guy just chilling on the mattress lol! We have no idea how long he was there before we saw him, but he was there for a good while after. That's college kids for 'ya. Anyway it gave us a good little chuckle and I hope it does the same for you! I think the fact that he took his flip flops off makes it!
3. I went to Daytona this past weekend to visit Kyle-- after being busy during recruitment and a stressful first week of classes I definitely needed some fun boyfriend time! It was a wonderful weekend indeed; he makes me laugh when I need it most, and I love how we can just be goofy together. We found ourselves shopping in Dicks Sporting Goods and had fun messing around with their products, which included Kyle channeling his inner child (which isn't so inner!) by riding a tiny bike. With training wheels. :)
4. After being reunited with my sweet kitty boy Berlioz (Kyle was keeping him during recruitment and moving for me), he didn't want to leave me alone, which included "reading" the latest People StyleWatch with me!
5. I'm really looking forward to next week and finally having a system and a schedule. Part of what has been so stressful these past two weeks is just getting into the swing of things in classes, all while being in a new apartment that I love, but is farther from campus. It's an adjustment, but I'm hoping that by the end of the month I'll have a time management system down pat that I can share with y'all! (If you are interested, that is!)
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
Live Stylishly,
Caroline
