Five Friday Favorites: Christmas Week Edition

Friday, December 27, 2013

What a wonderful week it has been! I truly love being home and spending the holidays with my family. Here's how my week went:

1. As you know, I recently dyed my hair myself. Well, as it's grown out, I've been debating if it was really something I wanted to keep up with (after all highlights are not cheap, and do I really want to keep doing it myself?). So I went to my most lovely hairdresser Barb and got her to fix me up with something that will look good for longer than my version of highlights. She gave my hair an all-over darker but ever so slightly dark red wash, adding pops of more visible red throughout. I love it! It brings out the slight red under tones I have in my hair.

2. Christmas Eve service at my church is always one of my favorite parts about Christmas. They have the children's pageant, and it's always so cute when the kids forget their lines or go off-book. It just makes me smile, and always gets me in the Christmas spirit.

3. On Christmas Day, I opened up gifts from two of my favorite guys…

Just kidding, that gift wasn't actually from Jameis! LOL. (Confession: I wrapped it up for myself).

Kyle gave me a not only possibly the sweetest card ever, but a gift card to Massage Envy (he knows my needs so well!) and a funny shirt. It made my day :) who cares what "Jameis" gives you when you have the best boyfriend around?!

4. My sweet kitty Katrina enjoyed hanging out under the tree during the unwrapping festivities. She has the prettiest fur!

5. I finally went line dancing with my girlfriends! My oh my how I missed the Grizzly Rose. We love to dance the night away when we are all home and available. It's always my favorite thing to do when I'm home!
