Life Lately

Happy Monday, my stylish friends!
It's the first day of finals week, but thankfully I don't have any finals today, leaving me time to blog! It's been too long. I've really be sad I haven't been a good blogger, but this semester was literally kicking my butt every step of the way. Thank you all for being patient with me, and my personal goal is to get better about blogging in all the areas I originally said I would over my Christmas Break.

Until then, here are my belated Five Friday Favorites/ what I've been up to recently!

1. I dyed my hair all by myself! I used three different hair color kits (one highlighter, one brown similar to my natural color, and one darker brown) to create a three-tone look! I was kinda scared to highlight my own hair, but I took the plunge and I'm so happy with the results! I'll definitely keep doing it, and I'm sure my skills will only get better with time.

 2. The weekend before Thanksgiving, my boyfriend Kyle came up for my sorority date function. It's called Woodser, and it's basically a fun night out at a barn venue in the woods! So obviously camp overalls were the only clothing option! LOL! Don't we look cute?!

3. For Thanksgiving, I went down to Port Orange to spend it with Kyle. And I brought Berlioz so that he and Bo could hang out. They've gotten so big! I snapped this picture when I walked in to check their food situation--they gave me looks like I was interrupting some super secret bro fest!
4. Last week I had my final project & presentations in my Studio One class. I cannot believe I have already completed my first Studio class at FSU… This semester has flown by! I love my major in that we are all super close, and have fun laughing and keeping each other sane when we are up late at the studio. I am so proud of myself for everything I have learned this year! My favorite piece of my presentation was this hand-drawn perspective I did of the meditation space in my project, Lotus: A Jain Center For Liberation. It has it's imperfections, but I'm still learning and I'm pretty proud of it!

5. This past weekend, I went to Charlotte with some of my girlfriends to cheer on our Seminoles at the ACC Championship game against Duke! It was an amazing weekend, and I had a ton of fun! And the best part is now the NOLES are going to be fighting Auburn at the BCS Championship in Pasadena in January!! YAY!!!
