There is a huge trend these days with "Athleisure", workout clothing that is high-fashion enough to wear not while working out. I have always been the type to be very put together, and rarely leave the house in workout clothes unless I'm actually working out. But on the college campus setting, everyone is in workout clothes all the time, and in that case it's more so about ease of styling and comfortability than making a fashion statement. I think I have always been in one extreme, and campus culture in the other, so the other day I decided to see if we could meet in the middle... And here is what I came up with!

In the first look, I took yoga leggings outside the studio, added a poncho for a comfy-casual look, and topped it off with simple silver accessories. I actually wore a version of this look the day I took these pictures, where I added a scarf. I'd say it was a success!
For the second look, I took a running top and paired it with jeans and flats, switched my athletic headband for a gold one, and added some fun accessories. Now as I write this post, I feel as if I over-styled this look just a bit, taking it too far away from the "Athleisure" trend. I guess that's the true Caroline peeking through, the one who loves to dress up and accessorize!
What do you think? Have you intentionally worn the "Athleisure" trend? What are your thoughts on it?
