Five Friday Favorites: If Berlioz Could Talk

Happy Fri-yay!

My little kitty boy Berlioz has been particularly funny this past week, so I decided to share his antics with you today. He definitely has a way of making me laugh and smile, even when I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with school or just feeling down. Animals have amazing healing powers! Anyway, I hope he makes you smile as you read this today. :)

1."I'm not happy here, I'm running away!" He got up underneath the straps of my backpack, looked at me with a weird face, and sat like this for a good 10 minutes. Then he walked over and rubbed up against me; I guess he realized he was happy here!

2. "Staying up late with you is exhausting. Let me lay on your computer and hopefully not accidentally mess up your project in Revit." My hard drive is divided so that I can run interior design programs like Revit on a "PC side" of my computer. When I switch over to the PC side, my computer gets nice and warm, and Berlioz loves being right there with me while I work. As in on top of my hand, on my arm as I move it while I work; and when I walk away, this is what I find when I come back.

3 & 4. "I just want to get in this box Grandma sent you, it smells like it has stuff for me in it! Why won't you let me in?" then... "Fine, I guess this shopping bag is close enough." My mom sent me a package with some things inside to open in December, and Berlioz was very intrigued with what was inside. I had two shopping bags laying on top of it, along with a binder from one of my classes, and he wanted in so bad he knocked everything off. When I had to kick him out because I heard him poking at the wrapping paper, he decided the shopping bag was a close second.

5. "Mom, you're stressing me out with your endless schoolwork. I need hide my head in this blanket and it will all be better." I was sitting down to do some homework, and a little later I look over and here he is hiding his face in the blanket. So precious.

Hope y'all have a great weekend!
