It's been a few weeks since I've done a Five Friday Favorites... life's been really busy lately, so today's post has a few things from last week as well as this week. Enjoy!
1. Nothing like doing a little homework reading on the beach! I really do love my major, so reading textbooks (especially for my History of Interiors classes) is actually quite fun.
2. During my spring break, I met up with my Big at Vero beach, a halfway point for both of us. It's been a year since I've seen her, but it didn't even seem that way. That's when you know you have a good friend :) As we wandered around the beachside area, we came across this cool hotel, and I fell in love with the facade! #InteriorDesignerProblems
3. My favorite outfit of this week... So happy & bright for spring! Look for a post next week with more on this outfit.
4. The other day I was working on schoolwork at home, and realized I hadn't seen my cat for awhile. I checked his normal mid-afternoon spot (cat's are very into schedules) and I found him stretched to get the maximum amount of warm sun on his belly! So freakin' cute!!!
5. My major changed it's name at the beginning of the semester, and we are now the Department of Interior Architecture & Design, a title that better reflects what Designers actually do. In celebration of the name change, the department ordered stickers and I could't wait to display mine loud and proud on my laptop.
That's about it for the past few weeks. My spring break was pretty chill & un-eventful (mostly just doing life with my fiancé, aside from a few beach days) and this week was focused on getting back into the swing of things. I know from here on out my work load is going to be far more intense, so I'll be looking forward to blogging as a break from the stresses of school/job hunting. The end is near!
