IT'S SPRING BREAK!
Well, almost. I have a fair amount of homework and projects due the week we get back from spring break, so I'm staying in town a couple extra days so that I can finish them, as well as get some necessary things crossed off my to-do list. It has been a crazy week, but to really begin my Five Friday Favorites we start back with last Saturday...

1. I went to a Civil War Reenactment Ball with some friends, and oh my goodness it was a ton of fun! Everyone was so welcoming, and we learned some traditional Civil-War era dances. My roommate and I are getting the group back together to go again next year!

2. Sunday was a beautiful day in Tallahassee, and thankfully I got to spend it outside with my sisters for our spring philanthropy event, Alpha PHIfa, which is a soccer tournament that the other fraternities and sororities on campus compete in. I loved being able to sit and relax in the sun with my sisters!

3. Wednesday was a rainy day, so out came my rain boots for a chic but comfy rainy-day look! I have worn this tunic so so much since I got it!

4. I FINISHED MY GIRAFFE CHAIR! I am so proud of this chair--I designed and built it all myself! What I loved about this project is seeing not only my design take shape, but also my classmates' designs taking shape. In a couple weeks we will present the chairs, each one inspired by a different children's book, to a local elementary school. So expect pictures of little 1st graders enjoying my chair to be up soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing the reactions of my "clients"!

5. Thankfully I've finished the big projects due post-spring break, so today my goal is to finish as much of my other homework as I can, but also maybe having a mini spa day... After cutting all that cardboard I definitely am in need of a manicure!

Have a great weekend!
