When I flew into see my family on Christmas Day, we arrived home just in time for it to start snowing! I had left rain behind in Florida, so I'd like to think that my coming to Colorado brought the weather with me, in the form of snow of course! Whether or not that's true, it certainly made for a wonderful white Christmas, something I hope for every year. It's been awhile since I've played in the snow, and so I couldn't help myself but to snap a couple pictures! 

This was a great outfit to travel in, perfectly comfortable without sacrificing style, and not too warm like I worried it might be. I loved the softness of the layers, and the metallic treading in the scarf! I forget if this scarf was a gift or just a spontaneous purchase, but regardless I love the little hints of sparkle it gives off. Just enough to make a statement while still keeping you warm, and the multitude of tones provide an unlimited amount of outfit parings. When I'm evaluating a new purchase, versatility always is a factor! I want to make sure I can pair it with enough existing items to justify purchasing it.
