Today, I thought we'd do a little flash back into some of my favorite looks in 2015 thus far! I've shared a lot of cute outfits this year on the blog, but the following ones really stick out for one reason or another. So lets start out walk down outfit memory lane back in January...
I love this icy outfit post from back in January... I remember how much I enjoyed putting it together! I love playing with the idea of a monochromatic color palette, but I think I'd don't try it nearly enough. So I'm glad I took such a public chance, and hopefully you liked it as much as I did! This sweater from Stitch Fix has changed my life. It's comfy, it's cozy, it's colorful but not unwearable-- it's the perfect winter cardigan! When I got it in my box, I was a little hesitant (I don't wear a lot of red) but after I ended up putting it on to go out to lunch with Kyle nearly immediately after I got it, I knew we would be besties, the cardigan and I. This look is my favorite look from spring break, partially because that whole week was amazing but also partially because it's a perfectly layered late winter/spring look... Soft sweater, lightweight jacket, cozy scarf, cuffed jeans, and booties... What better outfit for a springtime day?! (Original Post)
These last two looks perfectly show how you can change up the entire vibe of one dress just by switching a couple accessories! I put a sweet & stylish spin on this dress with a pastel necklace and metallic flats, but then added leather leggings and booties for an edgier look for the Eric Church concert with Kyle later in the week. (Original Sweet Post, Original Edgy Post)
As I write this, I realize how funny it is how some of my favorite outfits are my favorites because of the memories made in them. And then that gets me thinking about how I can still remember what I wore the day I asked Kyle out back in our junior year of high school, the outfit I wore on our first date... I'm glad no one took a picture of either! lol! But does anyone else remember things like that? Is that a fashionista thing?
Have a great week, and a belated Happy Easter to you all!
