Five Friday Favorites

Friday, January 22, 2016

This week felt long and short all at the same time. I only have classes on M/W, so because of the MLK holiday this week I only wine to school once! So the week kinda felt like one long weekend, yet I kept myself busy enough to where it wasn't a weekend. Anyone else get a little messed up with non-weekend holidays? Anyway, here is what happened in my world this week!

1. I came across this quote towards the beginning of the week, and I just thought it is so relevant to most anything in life! Just Bloom and wonderful things are bound to happen.

2. Even though I spent a few days this week at home doing schoolwork and other tasks around my apartment, a girl's still gotta wear a little bling to feel fabulous. (Especially if she's a jewelry lady!)

3. You may remember my one of my phrases for the year is to Be Consistent (read this post), and part of that was committing to a workout schedule. So I've been doing a quick 10-minute yoga video on M/W before my long day of classes, and then T/Th I've been meeting up with my little brother at the gym to workout. I figure I can't cancel on my brother, so there's no excuse to not show up, especially when I have no classes on those days. This was a post-workout smoothie I made this week, a new flavor combination that I really liked!

4. January is one of the months I can go get my engagement ring cleaned and inspected at the jewelers, so I took care of that yesterday. Now it's all extra sparkly!

5. Also speaking of jewelry, my new spring/summer collection samples arrived in the mail yesterday, and I cannot wait to start wearing them and styling them here on this blog!

I hope y'all had a great week. Happy Friday, and happy weekend ahead.

New Jewelry & New Colors for Spring 2016

Tuesday, January 12, 2016

In case you are new here, I am blessed to sell Premier Designs High Fashion Jewelry. We are a Biblically based Direct "Service" company whose focus is on enriching lives through jewelry. Over the weekend, I attended the Premier Designs Regional Rally in Orlando, where the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection was released. Talk about Jewelry Lady heaven!!! I cannot wait to order my new samples, because they totally compliment the Pantone Colors for Spring 2016!

I love the bo-ho flair of so many of the new pieces, the colors, the nods art-deco, and the new rose gold pieces that were added! I cannot wait to rock the new line for you on the blog in the coming months. Read more about Premier Designs on my PD Jewelry page.

Which color for Spring 2016 is your favorite?

Style Chameleon

Monday, August 31, 2015

Today I'm sharing a few daily outfits that for whatever reason never made it onto my Instagram. Each of these necklaces are from the new Premier Designs collection... it's been really fun to play with & style all my new samples! One of the many things I love about jewelry is it's ability to change the style of an outfit. Without having to buy new clothes, I can be classic (with a striped dress & simple sandals), slightly edgy (with grey & a pop of color), and even boho (with a flowy blouse & earthy statement necklace). Think about if I switched around the jewelry... I'd have three more very different looks, without changing my clothes!

Not that you needed another reason to love jewelry, but I think the added benefit of being a style chameleon is a pretty darn good reason! :)

Happy Monday!

Rose Gold Picks

Tuesday, April 28, 2015

I have always loved rose gold, thus why I wanted my engagement ring to be rose gold. I love the uniqueness that rose gold has to offer! While I have some rose gold pieces, I'd love a few more pieces now that I am wearing rose gold everyday. I especially would love pieces with a mix of metals, so that tri-tone bracelet pictured here is definitely my top pick!

Do you wear rose gold? What is your favorite metal?

Wedding Wednesday: Beachside Dress Shopping

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

Maxi Dress via Jane.com / Nine West Bag / Premier Designs Jewelry / Nurture Sandals (old)

This is actually the outfit I wore last Friday when I took my mom and brother with me to look at wedding dresses in Jacksonville. We had a lot of fun, on the drive there and back as well as the dress shopping itself, and I was glad my brother was willing to come along and give a guys point of view! Since we had a long day ahead of us, when I dressed in the morning I wanted something comfortable, and this maxi fit the bill! I paired it with this Premier necklace from our spring line, Monterey, that has natural shell pieces that picked up the colors of the dress and my mint handbag. The necklace totally makes this outfit!

Now I know y'all probably want to see pictures of the dresses I tried on, but I'm keeping those memories for myself. Instead, I'll share my Instagram from the day, the little detailing on my top two favorite dresses. Which one do you think I "said yes to" and ordered? :) And no, this isn't an April Fool's joke!

After dress shopping, we went to Joe's Crab Shack for lunch, and enjoyed the perfect spring breeze coming off of the ocean. As Kyle and I discuss leaving Florida after I graduate, I will have to say that I will miss the beach very much... It's become a larger part of my,  and our, life! But that doesn't mean we can't visit :)

Have a great Wednesday, my lovely readers!

Inspired Style: Copper

Wednesday, March 4, 2015

Inspired Style: This series focuses on outfits inspired by the designed world. Whether it's an interior, an exterior, art, or a color scheme, I am easily inspired to turn beautiful things or ideas into beautiful outfits.

This would probably be my dream kitchen! Back in my first semester at FSU, when I had to re-take similar classes because my credits from SCAD weren't accepted, one of my projects featured this amazing copper bathtub that I fell in love with. That project started my love affair with copper, so you can see why this kitchen is on my love list--that pendent!!! :)

The outfit I pictured this kitchen turning into was one that exuded dressy casual, and I think this look is perfect for a trip out to brunch with the girls, running errands, etc. The necklace picks up all the colors in the outfit, creating a cohesive combo that's sure to please.

Where would you wear this look?

Happy Wednesday!

Five Friday Favorites

Friday, February 20, 2015

It feels like this week drug on and on and on. Needless to say I'm happy for the weekend! Here's a little bit about my week...

1. To start off the week, I wore this comfy-cute look which you probably saw on Instagram. What was really cool though is that Lillian Eve, the nail polish company I bragged about in this post, re-posted my picture on their Insta, because I'm rocking Ballet Slipper again!

2. I had a Premier training Monday night, were I learned a fun new combo that I rocked later in the week! It never ceases to amaze me the different tricks and ways you can make your jewelry give a totally different look to an outfit. I guess that's why I'm a Jewelry Lady!

3. In an effort to combat the stress of this next Studio 3 project (which I'm praying won't be any worse than the previous one!) I am determined to incorporate more yoga, meditating, and bubble baths into my schedule. This might be a stretch, but I need to make it a priority, otherwise I just might explode! Well, maybe not explode but you get my drift.

4. I got another peel at the Salon at Ulta, and I'm loving how my skin is looking these days! I'll be sharing all the details soon up on the blog, but in the mean time yay for finally feeling like my skin is back to the pretty thing it used to be!

5. This sweet kitty passed out on my lap last night while I was doing homework. The crazy contorted positions cats (and dogs) put themselves in is so funny to me! I love my kitty cuddle moments like these, and soon Berlioz will be moving temporarily to Colorado (my parents are watching him for the last part of the semester and while I'm in Europe for study abroad). So I will enjoy these while I can! :)

Hope you all had a good week, have fun weekend plans, and I'll see you back here on Monday!

Inspired Style: Sweet Florals

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

Inspired Style: This series focuses on outfits inspired by the designed world. Whether it's an interior, an exterior, art, or a color scheme, I am easily inspired to turn beautiful things or ideas into beautiful outfits.

I was drawn to the beautiful simplicity of the plates in this inspiration image, and inspired by the rich yet sweet & simple colors in them. Perfect for a Valentines Date Night, the outfit created in the style of these plates maintains that sweet simplicity. The color palette is transformed in the dress, where beautiful blooms add a hint of the coming spring to a long-sleeved dress. An un-fussy bag plays up on the corals in the dress. Finally, shoes and jewelry act as the gold rim of the plates, rounding out the look. Add a jacket and nude tights if the climate requires it, and you are set for a fun date night come February 14th!

Do you know what you're wearing on Valentines Day? What would be your dream outfit?

Five Friday Favorites

Friday, January 16, 2015

I'm a little late getting this post up, because this week has just flown by! We are already deep in work in my interior design classes this semester, and it is well known that the 3rd year Spring Semester is the hardest in the program... so there is that! But I don't want to talk about school, so instead here are some outfit highlights from the week featuring some of my favorite sparkly pieces from Premier! I'm still on a high from Rally and can't wait to make 2015 be MY year! :)

Happy Weekend!

Globes and Jewelry

Monday, January 12, 2015

Of course, last night was the first of many awards show nights coming soon, and even though I couldn't watch the red carpet live I was excited to see what all the stars were wearing! My favorite dresses of the night? Worn by none other than Kate Beckinsale, Hedi Klum, Julianne Moore, Anna Faris, and Emily Blunt.

But what I've been especially excited about over the weekend is the new Spring Collection Premier released over the weekend. I saw it all in person, and don't worry, I've already ordered my favorites! Here is a little sneak peak, but if you'd like to see the full line shoot me an email at amy.caroline.17@gmail.com and I will send you a link. We like to try and keep it personal at Premier. :)

As you can see, statement earrings, bright statement necklaces, and tropical colors are going to be in for spring, but these are just a small sampling of the on-trend pieces this latest collection has to offer! I'm so excited!! Rally was a ton of fun, like any Premier training I attend. I love being surrounded by beautiful, motivational, inspiring, God-loving women who prompt me to be those things! With Premier it's never about selling, but instead always about loving, and that's what makes it such a great company to represent.

I hope y'all had a great weekend, and good luck with Monday today. I know I'm not ready for the weekend to be over!

Neon Tee For Night

Wednesday, July 16, 2014

Tee: LOFT / Pants: Marshalls (similar here) / Flats: DSW / Jewelry: Premier Designs

Yesterday, I showed you how I wore a neon tee for daytime. Today, I'm sharing how I switched up my look for a fun girls night out for dinner!I traded my shorts for silky printed pants, sandals for shiny flats, and switched up my jewelry to add in more silver accents. I love the result! Fun, dressy, and still 100% comfortable!
Which look is your favorite? How do you style neon?

Neon Tee For Day

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

Tee: LOFT / Shorts: J. Crew Factory / Sandals: Nine West Outlet / Jewelry: Premier Designs

I have never really hopped on board with the neon trend, but when I picked up this lemon-lime tee at LOFT I decided I would take a chance. I have worn it so much since I purchased it! Neon is not only great for summer, but it can go from day to night with ease. Today, I'm sharing a day look with this casual tee. I love the mix of the neon with the brick red shorts! Light shoes & jewelry bring the look together.Check back tomorrow for how to rock a neon tee for a girls night out!

Lately I'm Loving...

Monday, June 16, 2014

1. JOGGING. I've been trying to do a power walk/jog around my apartment complex and surrounding area either in the morning to make myself get going on days I don't have class, or at night before dinner to relax and sleep after having coffee. I'm loving it, and I want to keep this up! No schedule, just when I can. (photo credit)2. THIS QUOTE. Just perfect. (photo credit)3. BRALETTES. This is the perfect lounging/sleeping bra! The lace band underneath gives pretty decent support, and it's so soft... I already have two!
4. LEOPARD DRESSES. So cute! Shop it here5. THIS WEDDING. I would love a picture like this, especially with Kyle being a firefighter! (And no, we aren't engaged, but I know he's the one :) ). 6. PREMIER DESIGNS JEWELRY. I am just loving my company right now! I had a wonderful talk recently with my Premier Mom, and I'm setting some awesome goals for myself... I just feel like the time is finally right for me to shine! (The picture is a throwback to meeting our founder Andy Horner at National Rally in 2012!)
7. SQUAT LIKE... This tank makes me laugh, and it's so true! lol! Found on Etsy. 8. EATING RIGHT. Not that I was eating really bad before, but I'm trying to really keep up with my clean eating cleanse that I did with my roommates. I am feeling less bloated, more "fresh" (if that makes any sort of sense), and I have more energy. Eating more fresh foods has been the key, and more fruits that I was eating before. I've also been avoiding gluten better that I have in the past, as well as rice and wheat. (photo credit).

Happy Monday!

Fashion Lately: Seabreeze

Wednesday, June 4, 2014

Source: Pinterest

I have been wearing the Premier necklace Seabreeze non-stop this past week or so! I love the granulated beads, the ombre mint, and the many different ways you can wear it. It's a very versatile piece, and Jewelers across the country have been selling it like hotcakes! This necklace is the perfect summer necklace because it's fun, lightweight, and a vacation in jewelry form.
Can you hear the ocean yet?! :)

Here I paired it with tan and bright pink, with accents of silver for a fun summery look.

Yesterday, I wore it with a cobalt blue dress to really pop the color!

To buy Seabreeze and many other great pieces of jewelry, check out my Premier Designs blog tab for more information!

Fashion Lately: Maxed Out

Tuesday, June 3, 2014

On Sunday, I came into Tallahassee from Daytona just in time to pick up my mom & my brother from the airport! They are here for his Freshman Orientation at FSU, and he seems really excited! And I'm excited to have them here for a couple days, to get some more family time in. On that note, I'm keeping today's post and tomorrow's post pretty simple... Just going to share some outfits I've been wearing recently! Today I'm sharing how I've been wearing the maxi trend.

I love this simple maxi skirt and black blouse look that has been embellished with accessories to up the ante!
Very boho, very comfy!

Here, I love the pops of white that tone down the crazy colors in this maxi dress!
(I wore this look to my brother high school graduation the other weekend.)

Happy Tuesday!

Five Friday Favorites

Friday, March 28, 2014

It's been kind of a long week, but at the same time a very short week. In my classes, we've all been assigned our next projects, but either we can't quite start on them yet or we are just in the early stages of idea development. Because of this, we all feel a little tired, not motivated, and really just ready for another break. For me personally, it also doesn't help that I haven't quite gotten back on the working out horse, which always gives me more energy. I've just had a lot of errands to run or meetings to attend recently which has made it hard. But regardless, here are my Five Favorites things about this past week...

1. My furniture design class turned in our cardboard chairs to the local elementary school this week, and it was so much fun! (Look for a more detailed post next week!)

2. This Styled Life reached a milestone on Bloglovin'! I'm so happy with how this little idea of mine has grown since I started last June.

3. I sported this cute ensemble on Wednesday for a little mid-week style!

4. I've made some progress on my closet clean out, check back next week for the update on this post!

5. I'm wanting to get my hair cut, thinking something along the lines of this...

Have a lovely weekend!

Five Friday Favorites

Friday, March 21, 2014

It's been a pretty busy week coming back from spring break, and I already have a lot more schoolwork on my "to-do" list. It just never ends! But the spring air is rejuvenating and the sunshine makes everything better!

Here's what happened in my world this week:

1. I dressed up like a leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day!

2. We turned in our cardboard chairs in my Furniture Design class! Such a relief! But look at how much they take over the hallway, and that's only about 2/3 of them. It will be exciting to drop them off to the elementary school next week and see the children's reactions!
3. I rocked my new tee from GAP and repeated the necklace I wore on St. Paddy's Day, just because it is that cute!
4.  MY BROTHER GOT IN TO FSU!!!!!!! He will be joining me here in the fall, and I'm so excited!!!

5. This outfit inspired me! Found in the March edition Ladies Home Journal, I love the mix of patterns that still remain in the same two colors, black & white.

That's all for now! I'll be spending my weekend taking care of some car issues and doing homework... What are your plans for the first official weekend of spring?

Five Friday Favorites

Friday, February 21, 2014

Well another week has gone by... where is February going?! Anyone else feeling like this year is just flying by? Regardless, here's what happened in my world this week...

1. Monday night I attended an amazing Premier Designs Jewelry training that just left me with so much love in my heart and a loss for words on my lips. (read more about that here.)

2. All week the weather in Tallahassee has been absolutely beautiful! I love this spring time sun so much! If only I had time to go lay out and enjoy it...

3. For a field trip to a cabinet making shop in one of my interior design classes, I paired a simply peachy v-neck with a maxi skirt for a cute, put together, and oh-so-comfy look!

4. In my furniture design class, we are hard at work on our children's chairs! I'm rolling right along on mine... I have the seat struts almost complete!

5. And I put together this spring-espe ensemble for a Premier Party!

I hope your week was wonderful... Anyone doing anything fun this weekend? I'll pretty much be working out/in the furniture design studio/studying all weekend!

Insta-Outfits for the Week

Thursday, February 13, 2014

I've had a couple cute outfits this week, and if you follow me on Instagram you might have already seen them but I thought I'd share them with you today! The first one was my Monday outfit, which features the awesome printed pants I talked about in this post. I love these pants! They are so easy, so comfy, and so stylish! Once I'm past my "No Shopping In February" Challenge I might have to keep my eye out for a second pair. Pants like these will be a great winter to spring transition, and something you could even wear into the summer.

The next outfit was my Wednesday outfit. It was a rainy and gross day yesterday here in Tallahassee, and this combo was just enough to make it a little bit better. My leopard rain boots paired well with the polka dots (the patterns are way different sizes) and I loved the Premier jewelry I selected to wear with it.

Personally, I always feel like I put way more effort in on Monday and Wednesday, partially because of the nature of my classes those days (inside all day as opposed to Tuesday & Thursday when I'm in the furniture design studio and trekking it all around campus). Do you have days you naturally put in more effort?

Red & Pink: Two Ways

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

Seeing as Valentine's Day is this Friday, I thought I'd put together something sweet with red & pink in celebration. So without further ado, and a little help from my kitty boy Berlioz (as you'll see...), here are two casual but cute looks for Valentine's Day.

I love the casual simplicity of this look, but the intricate jewelry makes it even sweeter. Also, something about this denim jacket screams "girl-next-door", which is every guy's dream right?!

(SHOP IT: Jacket: Old Navy, Tee: J Crew, Skirt: LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls (old), Shoes: Audrey Brooke at DSW, Necklace & Ring: Premier Designs, Bracelet: boutique find)

This look is still casual, but a little more dressed up. I love the all-black with the pops of color, but the dot blouse keeps it young and fun! I might actually wear a version of this this weekend with the boyfriend... to be determined :).

(SHOP IT: Blouse: LOFT (old), Jeans: Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply (old), Wedges: CL by Laundry at DSW, Necklace: Premier Designs, Open Bracelet: Dillards (old), Rhinestone Bracelet: gift from Kyle, Rope Cuff: boutique find)

As you can see, Berlioz really wanted in my pictures! It seems he approves of these outfits... do you? Do you go crazy with the pinks, reds, and purples this time of year?

Happy Tuesday, Loves!
